Navigating around the map:
There are several ways to navigate around the map. Most commonly you can use the slider bar on the top left side of the map to zoom in and out. Click and drag the mouse to pan around. Some other ways to navigate: - SHIFT + Click to recenter
- SHIFT + Drag to zoom in
- SHIFT + CTRL + Drag to zoom out
- Mouse Scroll Forward to zoom in
- Mouse Scroll Backward to zoom out
- Use Arrow keys to pan
- + key to zoom in a level
- - key to zoom out a level

Map Layers
There are currently 4 different Base Map Layers that can be used in this application. To change the base map layer, select the appropriate layer from the pull down list. Base Map Layers cannot be drawn at very low zoom levels, so you may need to use the slider bar to zoom out. The other layer options turn on or off by checking the check box next the desired layer.

Tools
Current tools available are Measure tools (Line or Area) and Drawing Tools (Line or Polygon).

Search
Enter the owner namae or PIN number and click FIND.

Results
When the Quick Search or the Parcel Search option is used and more than one result is found, the information will be displayed in the Results window.

ArcGIS Server Javascript API GoMaps Viewer:

This site uses the ArcGIS JavaScript API to assist citizens with finding information about their property including land, building, assessed, and taxable values. This site also makes use of ColdFusion 8 AJAX capabilities to provide quick & seamless database query capabilities. As users enter values into any of the parcel search boxes, a window appears that automatically updates the results in a grid, as you type. Drawing and measure tools, as well as printing are included in the application.

Data:
The data displayed in this site come from three different locations:

1) ESRI's 'ArcGIS Online' base map services (streets, imagery, relief, and topography).

2) Fused and multi-layer tile caches from ROK Technologies (zoning, sales, parcels).

3) High speed, redundant cache hosts (Flagler Aerials). This layer demonstrates our cache hosting service that puts your cached tiles on our high bandwidth servers that allow cache files to be served very quickly to your users.

The data is replicated from Flagler County via a secure vpn connection to ROK Tech's geodatabase cluster. This means no more ftping or mailing your data. Any edits or changes to your data are reflected instantaneously in the application.

The ArcGIS JavaScript API is very customizable and can be developed to fit any client's specific business requirements.
